Ex NFL wide receiver James Hardy III was found dead in an Indiana River. Officials have confirmed that the body found in a log jam on the Maumee river, was, in fact, the 6 foot 6 tall athlete.
Hardy was drafted by the Buffalo Bills after he played a stellar season his Junior year at Indiana University. Getting drafted that young is a huge deal for someone who aspires to be a professional athlete. James Hardy was a shoe-in, however, after he made first team All-Big Ten, which is a big honor.
A water filtration plant employee spotted Hardy’s body and called authorities. According to sources over at TMZ, he had been in the water for a few days. Police are still investigating the cause of death.
